Triage Volunteer

As a Triage Volunteer you will:

  • explore issues with clients to be able to provide them with options to help them solve their problems
  • give information, guidance and support to clients or signpost/refer to other services
    look out for problems that are common, or are unfair, and record information to
  • support Citizens Advice research and campaigns work

Some examples of the types of help you could give:

  • give clients support and guidance to understand next steps
  • talking to the client to understand their issues to then book them an appointment or a call back from an adviser.
  • complete evidence forms to help us with our research and campaigns aims to improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives.

Time commitment:
