Telephone and Email Advice role
Our advice is not only given to clients who come to us face to face, we also deliver help to clients over the phone. Sometimes getting to our open sessions can be difficult if you work or have family commitments.
Our Telephone Advisors develop strong listening skills and learn to take detailed information accurately regarding a range of different problems.
We are now recruiting for telephone and email advisers in both our Cleator Moor and Millom offices.
Advisers will:
- Take details of a client’s enquiry over the telephone and by email
- Give information from the Citizens Advice electronic information system and other sources
- Give advice in explaining the choices and consequences the client faces
- Offering practical help by writing letters, making phone calls, completing forms and doing calculations
- Refer clients to other agencies if they are better placed to help
- Keep records of all clients’ cases
- Prevent future problems by identifying issues that affect a lot of clients
