We know that the Christmas period will be hard for some people and your issues and problems don’t just go away. We wanted to share with you what support will be available over Christmas.
Our Opening hours
We will close our Cleator Moor office at 12pm on Tuesday 24th December and re-open on Thursday 2nd January 2025 for telephone advice & pre-arranged appointments.
We will close our Millom office on Thursday 19th December and re-open on Thursday 2nd January 2025 for
pre-arranged appointments.
Foodbank Opening hours
Egremont Centre

Open Friday 27th December 1-2pm
Then re-opens as normal Friday 3rd January 2025
Whitehaven Centre
Last Session before Christmas Thursday 19th December 11:30am–1:30pm

Help to Claim Service
Help to Claim is a dedicated service from Citizens Advice. It’s free, independent, confidential and impartial. Our trained advisers can help with things like how to gather evidence for your application or how to prepare for your first Jobcentre appointment.
