Financial Wellbeing
Financial Wellbeing is about being in control of your day to day finances and having the financial freedom to make the choices that allow you to enjoy life.
A survey by the Money and Pensions Service has found that:
- 63% of people do not feel that they can determine what happens in their lives when it comes to money
- 22% have less than £100 in savings and investments
- 17% often use a credit card, overdraft or borrow money to pay bills or buy food
- 61% do not focus on the long term when it comes to money
Working in partnership with Citizens Advice Allerdale and Cumbria Community Foundation we are proud to be part of the Transforming West Cumbria progamme. This programme will take on West Cumbria’s most entrenched social and economic problems. Our Financial Wellbeing programme will provide you with the information, tools and tips to become more financially resilient.
Our project can help you to:
- Save
- Increase your income
- Cut down on your bills
